There are so many factors as to why your hair gets wild over one night, maybe because it knows you have something important to do the next day or maybe you just couldn’t stop tossing and turning.
Well, when you end up with a situation like that don’t just throw your hair up in a messy bun or think that combing it over and over is going to solve your problem. There are plenty of things to do in order to avoid this from happening.
1. DON’T go to bed with your hair wet. When your hair is wet it is actually at its most fragile state.
2. Put your hair back in a french braid or something to keep your hair from matting by the continuous movements at night.
(if you don’t know how to braid you can split your hair in two and wrap your hair in buns)
3. Brush your hair before you go to bed so that way your cuticle layer (most outer layer on the hair) goes in the same direction.
4. If you don’t wash your hair at night then apply some smoothing product at the mid-shaft to the ends so that your hair is already smooth when you take the braid/buns out.
5. If you are too busy one night and don’t have time for this when you wake up, take a deep breath, section your hair, brush through it with your amazing natural bristle brush. And to add some help with the frizzes, get a light controlled hairspray and spray it on the brush to help hold your cuticle down.
And remember, whenever you throw your hair up in a messy bun without brushing it, you are only making the situation worse for the next day.
