All You Need In This Life Of Flatness Is Volume!

Don’t ever be discouraged by how flat your hair is. There is ALWAYS a way to get that beautiful volume you want and deserve! Here are a few ways too!

 1. Dry shampoo

Apply dry shampoo at the regrowth area (roots) and when it is dry simply rub it in for more fun!

2. Teasing

Get a fine tooth comb or a bristle brush for more grab in the hair. Then scoop down towards your scalp starting about 2 inches above. Do this until you get the perfect height in the hair. After the volume is achieved smooth out the area.

3. Hairspray

Make sure to get the right hairspray for your kind of textured hair.  If your hair is on the thinner side then light spray is the way to go. And if your hair is on the thicker side then a stronghold spray with work. The heavier the spray is, the more the hair will be weighed down. (Thicker hair can withstand heavier hairspray)

4. Blow drying at the scalp

You can always air dry and apply product but you can never go wrong with blow drying the volume right in! A round brush and a hairdryer are all you need to get that extra height.

5. Texturizing

If you have issues with your hair not being funky enough or having a hard time keeping it voluminous, try a little texturizing in your next haircut. This gives the hair more texture and a better hold.
