Issues with your hair being too flat and boring?
Have you ever tried layers?
There are a couple of ways to explain what type of layers can be achieved and which is most suitable for your face. First, you need to ask yourself “Where do I need more volume?”
If you need more volume around the ends of your hair then you would get long layers. Long layers give off a more settled look with movement more towards the ends.
If you need more volume around the cheekbone or crown area then you would get short layers. Wherever the shortest layer is, more volume is added above that. The shorter the layer is the more of a dramatic look you’ll achieve.
Some people like no short or long layers but do get what is called a face frame. A face frame is when layers are added only around the face. This gives off an illusion of thick hair from the front by adding movement and fullness, especially when the hair is curled.
